The superstar comedian who is now a household name started his career in television after nearly a decade of struggle in the industry. Reportedly, Sharma's father who was a head constable in Amritsar wanted to see his son rise to become a star some day. Although he couldn't witness this feat by his son, the whole country is crazy about Kapil for his trademark 'clean' comedy and unique antics.
