Mumbai: We work hard so that we get to fulfil our basic needs. And in this age where grains, pulses, vegetables and fruits are exorbitantly priced, we feel the pinch when food goes waste.

We seldom store vegetables properly in the refrigerator and hence they rot in a few days. From the refrigerator, they go straight into the trash bin.
