Mumbai: Love relationships are like ‘Kacche dhaage’, roughly meaning ‘fragile strings’ that remain strongly only until worked upon with great efforts. A great deal of trust, faith, perseverance, transparency and commitment are required to keep the love and passion ignited.

In this mechanical age, where relationships are on tenterhooks, one needs to value and respect the emotions of one another. Only then, relationships can blossom.

In this article, let’s take a look at five things men must never hide from their wives, if they genuinely want their marriage to go strong and last long:

Past love affairs:

Men must never hide their past relationships from their wife. Let bygones be bygones. But do let your wife know about your previous relationships. You never know, when your past may bounce back to unsettle your present. So be faithful to your wife and be transparent with her so that she supports you in times of need.

Casual flings:

You may not have been serious about your relationship with a certain Miss A. But never let your past casual flings play a spoilsport. Let your wife know about it, so that she knows your past well, to understand your present and future.

Your previous physical relationships:

She is your wife, and she has the right to know all about your past. Be honest enough and confess about your physical relationships to her. This honesty will strengthen your bond with your wife and she will be able to trust you more.

Weaknesses:

If you have a weakness for anything, let your wife know about the same. She may not appreciate it, but she will understand you better and help you overcome the weakness.

Outing with boy gang:

You may thing she will not like it but you do deserve your share of “boys time”. Hangout with your boy gang but don’t hide it from your wife. A woman often thinks that her husband spends more time with his gang of boys. But by politely being vocal and honest about your need for having some time with your friends, you will win her confidence.
