India vs England 3rd Test Highlights: India ruled the proceedings on the opening day of the ongoing day-night Test against England in Ahmedabad, as the hosts closed the day at 99/3 and are trailing by 13 runs. The team's architect behind this tremendous show was local boy Axar Patel, who earlier in the day played an instrumental role in bundling out the visitors for a paltry 112. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma, who is batting on 57, will resume the Indian innings along with Ajinkya Rahane on Day 2.
Axar completed the innings with six scalps and gave away just 38 runs, making him the second spinner to return with the best figures in day-night Tests. Meanwhile, this also was England's fourth-lowest inning total against India.
