Whose dress are you wearing, Bipasha?

Zeenews Bureau Mumbai: Socialite and designer Ramona Narang-Rodella was in for a shock when she got a taste of Bollywood’s unprofessional ways recently. The socialite’s brand of dresses was worn by Bipasha Basu for promotional activities of ‘Jodi Breakers’ but went unaccounted for. The story goes something like this. Ramona’s line called Ibella frocks is right now the current favourite among the Bollywood fraternity. While many of the stars buy her dresses, Ramona has never really given the dresses for promotional activities. Speaking to a daily, Ramona said that Bipasha’s stylist approached her for some outfits which the actor would wear for the promotional activities. "We don`t usually lend our pieces for publicity use, but I know Bipasha personally, so I lent eight dresses,” said Narang. Apparently the stylist took the outfits and took a long time to return them and when she did finally, Ramona was told that Bips did not wear any of them. Ramona only got to know the truth once she spotted Bips wearing a pink dress from her line on the poster of ‘Jodi Breakers’. What more! Bips also was seen wearing a green saree gown on the sets of Zee’s ‘Dance India Dance’ which Ramona claims was from her line. "The sari-gown is from our latest line. I immediately called the stylist and asked her about it. If she used the dress, she should have paid for it," said the shocked designer. When Ramona confronted the stylist and asked her to pay, the stylist claimed that the dresses were Biapsha’s own. When Ramona insisted that she had sold the only piece to a client in Dubai, the stylist produced two tailored Ibella copies and stated that these were the ones that the actress had worn. Even though Bipasha ignored all of Ramona’s calls and messages, the designer was able to get payment for just one of the eight dresses that the stylist had borrowed from her. What about the payment for the other seven dresses, Bips?
