Katie Holmes’ lawyer says reports about divorce settlement inaccurate

Washington: Katie Holmes’ attorney Jonathan Wolfe has rubbished rumours regarding the specifics of the actress and her estranged hubby Tom Cruise’s divorce proceedings. According to the lawyer, the details of the settlement including the custody arrangements for their six-year-old daughter Suri -- aren’t remotely true. “There are numerous inaccuracies in the reports regarding the purported contents of the agreement reached between the parties,” Us Magazine quoted Wolfe as saying in a statement Monday evening. “The agreement is confidential and its terms will not be disclosed,” he said. On Monday morning, the ‘Rock of Ages star’, 50, and his estranged wife of five years, 32, issued a joint statement through their respective reps -- assuring fans their true priority during their painful split is, and has always been, looking after their little girl. “We are committed to working together as parents to accomplish what is in our daughter’s best interests,” the actors said. “We want to keep matters affecting our family private and express our respect for each other’s commitment to each of our respective beliefs and support each other’s roles as parents,” they added.
