‘Cynical’ Brad Pitt has lost his ‘enthusiasm’ for fame and fortune

Brad Pitt has revealed that he is not enthusiastic or hungry about fame and fortune any more, like the way he was when he was younger.

London: Brad Pitt has revealed that he is not enthusiastic or hungry about fame and fortune any more, like the way he was when he was younger.
The 47-year-old star, who is raising six children with partner Angelina Jolie, said that the life has changed him and he was more ‘optimistic’ during his initial days.
“I was more optimistic and naive when I was younger. I arrived in Los Angeles with a few hundred dollars in my pocket and took any odd job I could find, then worked as an extra before I started to get acting jobs,” the Daily Express quoted Pitt as saying. The ‘Moneyball’ star asserted that being in the film industry for 20 years has left him reflecting about the world in a ‘cynical’ way and he is less of the dreamer that he used to be. “I gradually grew more cynical and realistic about the world and in some ways I’m sorry I lost some of that openness and enthusiasm,” the actor stated. However Pitt also said that being a father to Maddox, 10, Pax, eight, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne has propelled him recoup some vitality. “Being a father and being part of my own family has rekindled a lot of that lost spirit, although I still have a naggingly realistic outlook on things,” he added.
