Jeep India's official website goes live; to unveil 3 vehicles at Auto Expo 2016

New Delhi: American SUV brand Jeep has made its official Indian website LIVE along with its other social media portals.

Jeep's official website announcement has added more fuel to speculations about the possible vehicle launches that have been doing the round for quite some time.

The Jeep India site has already listed five upcoming models from the brands Willys, CJ-5, Wagoneer, Cherokee XJ and Grand Cherokee.

Along with five upcoming launches, the site has also listed about Grand Cherokee, Grand Cherokee SRT and Wrangler Unlimited models that would be showcased at Auto Expo 2016 which is going to be held in Noida in February.

Here are a few things we know about the vehicles from Jeep

Grand Cherokee

Engine: 2.4 litre Multijet engine with four cylinders, 16 valves and SOHC petrol engine

Price: Below Rs 30 lakh (ex showroom Delhi)

Grand Cherokee SRT

Engine: 475hp 6.4-litre v8 engine

Price: Below Rs 30 lakh (Not yet confirmed)

Wrangler Unlimited

Engine: 3.6-litre, V6, 24-Valve, DOHC, VVT petrol engine (70 litres fuel capacity)

Price: Roughly between Rs 22 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (ex showroom Delhi)
