Sidharth Malhotra's action-thriller Marjaavaan goes on floors, actor shares a pic

Mumbai: Actor Sidharth Malhotra's last few films may not have impressed the critics but the actor has his kitty filled with some good projects. Only yesterday, the makers had release the motion poster of Sidharth's next film, titled 'Jabariya Jodi'. And now, the actor has kickstarted shooting for his next film 'Marjaavaan'.

Sidharth took to Twitter to share a portrait shot of him with his fist in front. He is seen sporting a rugged look and has symbolic representation all religions -- Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam and Christianity on his fingers. He captioned the photo writing, "Ishq aur inteqaam ka koi mazhab nahi, koi ek Rab nahi! #Marjaavaan` shoot begins today!"

Milap Zaveri, who is directing the film, shared Sidharth's image and wrote, "Power, Passion, Pyar (love)! 'Marjaavaan' first look."

Producer Bhushan Kumar described the journey as exciting and wished the entire cast luck for the film's shoot.

The film is slated to release on October 2, 2019. Apart from the 'Ek Villain' actor, the film will feature Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh and Tara Sutaria, who is making her Bollywood debut with 'Student Of The Year 2'.

'Marjaavaan' reunites Zaveri with Riteish and Sidharth after four years. They were seen together in 'Ek Villain', which was written by the filmmaker.
