Mogul: Will Sonakshi Sinha be a part of Gulshan Kumar biopic?

Mumbai: A biopic on late Gulshan Kumar was announced long back. The film which initially had Akshay Kumar on board to play the titular role made headlines once again after Aamir Khan decided to join forces with Bhushan Kumar as a co-producer.  Reports also suggested that Aamir would play the music mogul in it.

Subhash Kapoor was supposed to direct the film but Aamir distanced himself from the project after sexual harassment allegation against the filmmaker came to light. The filmmaker was subsequently ousted from the film, reports suggest.

The latest about the big film is that Sonakshi Sinha has been approached to play a small but significant part in it.

"The film dates back to the ’70s and ’80s and the team was looking for a heroine, who could exude that retro vibe, " DNA quoted a sourecas saying.

However, nothing is finalised yet. 

Sonakshi had two releases his year - Welcome to New York and Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi this year. She has Karan Johar's Kalank and Salman Khan starrer Dabangg 3 in her kitty.
