India is set to welcome its newest sedan in the form of the 2023 Hyundai Verna. As per the latest update, the car will make its debut in India on March 21, 2023. With this launch, the South Korean automaker looks forward to re-establish the name of the car in the Indian market. Upon launch, the car will directly challenge the likes of Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and others in the Indian market. It is to be noted that the company has started taking bookings for the new sedan with a token money of Rs 25,000.

Until now, the South Korean automaker has managed to keep the details of the 2023 Hyundai Verna a complete secret. Only the slight details of the car have been revealed by teasers showing a few elements of the car. However, a digital render of the car by Bagrawala Designs showcases the basic design of the car.

The render shows the Hyundai Verna with a big grill covering the sedan's front end. Moving on, the grill is complemented by a LED DRL strip running across the front end. Bringing these together are sharp lines across the body of the car giving it a slightly muscular look. These lines form a V-shaped body while maintaining the roof lines of the car.

The sedan also receives a set of brand-new alloy wheels. Departing from this design, the rear end of the car gets a bumper that is sharper than the previous model. A set of newly created taillamps with a connected LED light strip that extends from one end to the other are mounted on the back of the vehicle.

The 2023 Hyundai Verna is expected to get a 1.5-liter direct-injection turbo-petrol engine and an option for a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine. These engines will be mated with both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission to power the car. Furthermore, with all these updates the car is expected to be pricier compared to the other models. However, there is no official information on it yet.
