Anshul beat Indonesia's Jeka Saragih in 2nd round of the lightweight division to win the Road to UFC competition. He beat the Indonesian in just 3 minutes and 44 seconds via technical knockout.
Anshul is son of a retired BSF officer. He hails from Uttarakhand state in India, Bhatwari village near Uttarkashi.
Anshul was introduced to Mixed Martial Arts in 2015 by his friend's older brother. He started watching MMA fights on YouTube and then joined a MMA club in Delhi from where his journey started.
Anshul Jubli is known as the "King of Lions' on the MMA circuit.
Anshul took part in the second edition of Matrix Fight Night, founded by actor Tiger Shroff and won four matches on the trot. From thereon, there was no stopping him.
