Tabo Monastery

This is the oldest Buddhist pilgrimage centre in the Himalayas. Situated at 10,007 feet, this magnificent monastery is a sight to behold.

Dhankar Lake

A magical lake, surrounded by wild shrubs, you can reach this lake after a steep trek from the Dhankar monastery.

Key Monastery

This is the largest monastery of the Spiti Valley and a religious training centre for lamas. The images of Gautam Buddha doing meditation are awe-inspiring.

Chandra Taal

A pristine and unspoilt lake, it is believed in Hindu mythology that this is where Indra, the King of Gods, came down on his chariot to transport the eldest Pandava, Yudhishthira to heaven. It's located at more than 14000 feet.
