Step 1

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, chopped onions, and green chilies. Sauté until onions turn golden.

Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, and garam masala. Toss in chopped okra and cook until it becomes soft and slightly dry.

Step 4

Allow the okra mixture to cool completely before stuffing into the paratha to prevent tearing.

Step 5

Take a small portion of dough and roll it into a small circle. Place a spoonful of the okra mixture in the center and seal it by folding the edges together.

Step 6

Gently roll the stuffed dough into a paratha, ensuring the filling doesn't spill out.

Step 7

Heat a tawa (griddle) and cook the paratha on both sides, applying ghee or oil, until golden brown spots appear.
