Collect the following ingredients: 500 grams of chicken, 2 onions, 2 tomatoes, yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, and chili, cumin, and garam masala.
Add the chicken, yogurt, red chili powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to a bowl. Give it at least an hour to marinate.
3 tablespoons of oil should be heated in a deep pan or handi. Add the sliced onions and cook until they become caramelized and golden brown.
Add the chopped tomatoes and stir until they become tender. Add ground spices such as coriander and cumin to taste better.
Mix thoroughly after adding the marinated chicken to the pan. Cook the chicken over medium heat until it is soft and browned.
If you can, seal the edges of the lid with dough before covering the handi. For 30 to 40 minutes, cook on low heat.
After cooking, top with fried onions and fresh coriander. Serve hot and enjoy as a full meal with rice or naan.
