Collect pasta, 3 cloves of garlic, 1/4 cup oil, salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese. Fresh parsley or coriander leaves are optional for garnishing.
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and add pasta. Cook according to package instructions until still firm.
Peel and chop garlic cloves into small pieces. Garlic will add the authentic flavour.
In a large pan, heat oil over medium-low heat. Be careful not to burn the oil.
Add chopped garlic to the pan and saute for 1-2 minutes. Stir constantly to prevent burning.
Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste, and stir them well. You can also add red pepper flakes or any other additional spices for some extra taste if you want.
Drain cooked pasta and add it to the garlic pan. Toss everything together until pasta is well coated.
Sprinkle grated cheese over the pasta and toss again. You can also add some chopped parsley or coriander.
