The India Meteorological Department has issued a rainfall warning for more than 8 states.
The IMD has predicted rainfall with thunderstorms over Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi on March 20.
The IMD has also predicted light rains over Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan on March 20.
Bihar may also witness showers on March 20.
Rainfall and thunderstorms are also predicted over West Bengal and Northeast India till March 23.
According to IMD, Central and East India will see no significant change in maximum temperatures for the next two days and may record rise by 3-5⁰C thereafter.
Maharashtra may see rise in maximum temperatures by 3-5⁰C during the next three days and no significant change thereafter.
The IMD said that the rest parts of the country may have no significant change in maximum temperatures for the next 4-5 days.
