1. Arignar Anna Zoological Park, Chennai

It is one of the largest zoos in the country and home to 2,553 species of flora and fauna. Countless varieties of fish, amphibians, mammals, insects, and other creatures are among the 1,500 natural species that inhabit this zoo.

2. Alipore Zoological Garden or Kolkata Zoo

India's oldest formally stated zoological park, Kolkata Zoo was established in 1875. Spread over 45 acres of land, the Alipore Zoo is home to a variety of exotic animals like the Royal Bengal Tiger, the Indian Elephant, the Great Indian One-horned Rhinoceros, etc.

3. Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Darjeeling
