Previoulsy, Captian Geetika Koul from the Snow Leopard Bridgade became the first woman medical officer of the Indian Army to be deployed at the world’s highest battlefield, Siachen.
Siachen Glacier is the largest one in India and the highest battleground in the world.
She belongs to the Indian Army’s Fire and Fury Corps.
She had undergone rigorous training at Siachen Battle School before the induction to a post at an altitude of 15,200 feet.
