India on Thursday saw 5,335 fresh Covid-19 cases, the highest in 195 days.

India's coronavirus active caseload has now increased to 25,587, while the total tally has jumped to 4.47 crore.

India reports 13 new Covid-19 deaths

India's Covid-19 death toll has also increased to 5,30,929 with 13 new fatalities.

India's weekly positivity rate is now at 2.89%

The daily coronavirus positivity rate in India currently stands at 3.32% while the weekly positivity rate is at 2.89%.

Kerala is worst Covid-hit state

Kerala with 8,229 active Covid-19 cases is currently the worst-hit state in India.

Maharashtra, Delhi seeing spike in Covid cases

Maharashtra (3,874 active coronavirus infections), Gujarat (2,176), Delhi (1,795) have also been hit hard.

Himachal, Karnataka reporting rise in coronavirus cases

Himachal Pradesh (1,705 active Covid-19 cases), Karnataka (1,477), Tamil Nadu (1,216) are also witnessing spike in coronavirus infections.

Covid-19 cases rising in Haryana, UP

Haryana with 974 active coronavirus infections, Goa (818) and Uttar Pradesh (718) are the other worst-hit states.
