With the massive crowds the risk to stealing increases so it is advised not to take heavy jewelry or money with you to the Kumbh Mela

As Kumbh Mela is a holy place it is advised to maintain the decorum and follow the vegetarian diet.

Consumption of alcohol and tobacco is strictly prohibited in the premises of the Kumbh Mela to ensure purity of the place.

Taking photographs of anything or any person without their permission and content is disrespectful and is not allowed.
