1. Dalai Lama’s Dharamshala

Dharamshala, situated in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh, is renowned as the sacred city of the Buddhist religion and is also known as the home of the Dalai Lama. This small town is not just a scenic beauty but is also recognized as a holy city of the Buddhist faith.

2. Jawalamukhi Maha Shaktipeeth

Jawalamukhi Maha Shaktipeeth is recognised as a Shakti Peetha, with the belief that it marks the spot where Sati's tongue descended. Shakti Peethas are sacred sites dedicated to Adi Parashakti, the primal Mother Goddess.

3. Chintpurni Mata Temple

Chintpurni Mata Temple is said to be the location where Mata Sati's head is believed to have fallen. The temple is regarded as a significant site among the 51 Shakti Peethas. The deity presiding over Chintpurni is also hnown as Chhinnamastika.

4. Bajreshwari Mata Mandir

The Shree Bajreshwari Mata Mandir, alternatively known as Kangra Devi Mandir, is part of the 51 Shakti Pithas devoted to Goddess Vajreshvari, a manifestation of Goddess Durga. This sacred site is situated in the town of Kangra.

5. Shri Chamunda Devi Mandir

Shri Chamunda Devi Mandir or Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham is dedicated to Shri Chamunda Devi, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Situated 19 km from Palampur town in the Dharamshala Tehsil of Kangra district, it serves as a sacred place of worship.

6. Shri Naina Devi Mandir

The globally renowned Shakti Peeth, Shri Naina Devi Mandir in Himachal Pradesh, is situated at an elevation of approximately 5000 feet above sea level. This temple is located on a hill, around 18 km from the border of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, near Shri Anand Puri Sahib.

7. Shiva Temple, Baijnath

Shiva Temple or Baijnath Temple, designed in the Nagara architectural style, is positioned in the small town of Baijnath within the Kangra District.

8. Masroor Rock-cut Temple

Masroor Rock-cut Temple constitute an ancient complex of Hindu temples carved into the rock. These temples date back to the early 8th century and are situated in the Kangra Valley along the Beas River in Himachal Pradesh, India.

9. Baglamukhi Temple

Baglamukhi Temple, Kangra is located approximately 30 km from Kangra district, the temple is situated near both the Jwala Ji and Chintpurni Devi temples, forming a sacred pilgrimage site.

10. Bhimakali Temple

The temple is situated approximately 180 km away from Shimla, this 800 year-old temple is a significant religious site.
