MG Motor India has increased the price of its most affordable Comet EV by up to Rs 13,000.
Its Exclusive and Excite variant with fast charger received the price hikes of Rs 11,000 and Rs 13,000, respectively.
The Exclusive variant gets more expensive by Rs 11,800. There has been no change in the price of other variants of Comet EV.
The Comet EV is now available between the price range of Rs 6.99 lakh to Rs 9.40 lakh.
It comes with a 17.3kWh battery and a single electric motor, producing a maximum power of 42bhp and 110Nm of torque.
This is a small electric car that offers an ARAI-certified range of 230 km and rivals the Tata Tiago EV.
It comes equipped with several advanced features, including 55+ connected features, keyless entry, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, a reverse camera, and more.
