Nirbhaya convict Pawan Gupta's petition dismissed by SC, now mercy plea sent to President
The Union Home Ministry has received a mercy petition of Pawan Kumar Gupta, one of the four men facing the death penalty in the 2012 Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case. The ministry will forward the petition to President Ram Nath Kovind for his consideration and decision.
