The Supreme Court has passed a judgment on the plea seeking ex-gratia compensation of Rs 4 lakh to families of those who have lost a family member due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The amount to be determined by the National Authority under the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The Supreme Court has directed the National Authority to decide the reasonable amount.
