Central government withdraws decision to reduce interest rates on small savings schemes

After hours of reducing interest rates on small savings schemes, the central government has decided to withdraw the order. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in a tweet on Thursday that the interest rates of the government's small savings schemes will continue to be similar to the last quarter of 2020-21.
