Uttar Pradesh: PAC jawan commits suicide

Bareilly: A PAC jawan allegedly committed suicide in the barracks by hanging himself from a ceiling fan using a bedsheet, the police said.

The body of 24-year-old Gaurav Tiwari was found hanging this morning, they said.

Tiwari belonged to Bilhaur area of Kanpur and had joined the Uttar Pradesh Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) last year.

It was not immediately known as to why he took the extreme step, the police added.
