Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth on Thursday flagged off new ambulances equipped with life-saving technology.
Addressing a function here to mark the event, the chief minister said the Centre was always willing to provide funds for such activities but his predecessors never showed any interest.
He said that the previous governments in the state were afraid that the credit would go to the BJP if they implement such projects with the help of central funds.
“The previous govt did not take funds fearing that the credit would be given to BJP,” ANI quoted him as saying.
