Two history-sheeters were on Tuesday arrested in connection with the killing of the son of a former BJP MLA in Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place on Saturday night at Hazratganj area in the state's capital. The victim identified as Vaibhav Tiwari was reportedly shot dead by criminals.
His father Jippi Tiwari, is an ex-legislator who had represented the Domariaganj assembly constituency of Siddhartnagar district in eastern Uttar Pradesh.
It was not immediately clear what led to the attack, or the identity of the assailants. A police investigation is currently on.
