The Kapil Sharma Show: No Sunday episode this weekend? Here’s why

Mumbai: Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar haven’t shot for ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ ever since the controversial mid-flight fight made headlines a few days back. Since then, Kapil has been making desperate attempts to ensure the show continues to impress the audiences but unfortunately, things haven’t worked for him much.

And now it is being said that TKSS will not be aired on Sunday this weekend. But this may not be due to non-availability of Grover, Ali and Chandan. According to a report in DNA, Indian Idol grand finale will be telecast on Sunday at 8PM and the episode may extend beyond its scheduled air time because it will be the last episode of this season.

Nonetheless, it looks highly unlikely that Grover will return to Kapil’s show after being humiliated by the star comedian on flight.

For the uninitiated, the in-flight drama happened when Kapil, who was reportedly in an inebriated state, abused Grover verbally and physically.

After realising he had committed a grave mistake, Kapil apologised to Grover publicly. The latter, who essayed the roles of Dr. Mashoor Gulati and Rinku Bhabhi in TKSS, wrote back to Kapil by saying, “You are the wittiest and the best in your field. But don’t act like a God’.”
