Kapil Sharma Show: Sumona Chakravarti will NEVER work with Krushna Abhishek—Here's why

New Delhi: Actress Sumona Chakravarti is a popular face on television—all thanks to her pairing with Kapil Sharma, the audience loves to watch the funny banter exchanged between the two in the show.

Sumona has always been a part of Kapil Sharma's show right from the time when ace comedian first started 'Comedy Nights With Kapil'. The journey has been immensely loved by their fan base.

At a time when Kapil's co-actors such as Sunil Grover and Ali Asgar have quit 'The Kapil Sharma Show' midway post his infamous brawl on board a flight, Krushna Abhishek's new show 'The Drama Company' has gained prominence.

In fact, Ali has joined Krushna's show and Sunil will be seen making a guest appearance on the same show. Now, Sumona was asked if she too will join Krushna, and the actress made her stand clear.

PTI quoted her as saying, “I did not do it (Krushna's show) back then and I will not do it now.” When asked about the constant comparisons between Kapil and Krushna, Sumona said, "I never got into back then and I will not get into it now also. So, it doesn't make difference to me."

She also refuted all the rumours about Kapil's show shutting shops. She said, "It's not true. I am busy shooting for the show."
