Kapil Sharma fight on flight row: Did Sunil Grover, Ali Asgar and Chandan Prabhakar skip shoot?

Mumbai: The crack is wide and deep! Kapil Sharma’s unruly behaviour with his colleague Sunil Grover while they were returning from Australia after a successful tour didn’t apparently go down well with Chandan Prabhakar and Ali Asgar too.

Sunil, who remained tight-lipped until Tuesday morning, took to Twitter to write a heartfelt note to Kapil, clearly expressing how hurt and disillusioned he is by his behaviour. And if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then Kapil reportedly shot an episode of his show (The Kapil Sharma Show) without Sunil, Ali and Chandan, who have been integral parts of the show since its inception.

In fact the trio have been a member of Kapil’s core team since the days of ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’.

According to a report in DNA, only Kiku Sharda reported to the sets of the show for the shoot.

“Sunil has decided not to return to the show. He is contractually bound with the Channel and not with Kapil Sharma’s production house. Sunil has already made it clear to Sony that he cannot return to the show after Kapil’s unruly conduct,” DNA quoted a source as saying.

“Clearly there are major upheavals happening on The Kapil Sharma Show. Sunil won’t return. Ali and Chandan too, boycotted the show. That leaves only Kiku sharing the platform with Kapil. Of course, Navjot Singh Sidhu who is very close to Kapil, also remains. But for how long?,” DNA quoted another source close to the developments as saying.

Certain reports also suggest that Kapil has started given opportunities to new talent.

Now, if Sunil, Ali and Chandan decide to quit the show, it would be interesting to see the audiences response to the changes that are taking place.
