Disha Vakani aka Dayaben to be back on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah? Here's the latest

New Delhi: Disha Vakani, better known as Dayaben from popular sitcom 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' is loved by the audiences who follow her show regularly. Although the actress has been missing from the sitcom as she was on a maternity break, the buzz is that she will soon be back.

Daya aka Disha Vakani had taken a maternity break from the show and was not replaced by anyone. She is blessed with a baby girl who was born on November 30, 2017. Contrary to reports of her quitting the show, Disha is all set to make a grand comeback.

According to Pinkvilla.com, makers have already shot with Disha and in the upcoming episodes, she will be seen on the show. The report has been originally attributed to the entertainment portal. But the report also states that she won't be coming back full time as her baby is just four months old.

A source has been quoted as telling the portal, “Although Disha’s delivery date was sometime in the third week of December, she delivered the baby today morning. Both mom and daughter are doing well and would be discharged from the hospital soon. Disha is yet to decide when she would be back to work but as of now she wants to spend time with her bundle of joy.”

No official announcement has been made about the actor's comeback so far by the makers.

All the characters playing their respective parts in the sitcom have gained immense popularity owing to its high TRP and audience love. Daya and Jethalal Gada's funny banter and a familial bond between various characters living in Gokuldham society are totally unmissable.

Disha got hitched to Mayur Pandya on November 24, 2015.
