New Delhi: Domestic budget-carrier Vistara on Monday became the latest airline to completely banned Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on its aircrafts, including in the check-in baggage.
This comes a day after the Galaxy Note 7 was banned by Malaysia-based airline AirAsia banned the device across all its flights including those operating in India.
The move comes from the airlines as a part of preventive measure against various reports that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 blasts.
In recent weeks, the Galaxy Note 7 has been the headline story across the globe due to defective battery manufacturing that leads to the device blasting especially while charging. Following this, Samsung has even put a permanent halt on production of the device while recalling millions across the globe.
Following this, various airlines across the globe has banned the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 on their aircrafts.

- AirAsia: The Malaysian budget airline has banned it across any of its flights including those operated by AirAsia India
