Rio Games: After blocked toilets, poor wiring facilities, athletes upset with no access to Pokemon Go!

Rio de Janeiro: After several complains of blocked toilets and poor wiring facilities, there is a fresh blow for the authorities at the Olympic village.

Athletes are left disappointed due to Brazil's lack of access of Pokemon Go – the hit mobile game which has taken the world by storm.

The game from Google spinoff Niantic Inc has been launched it more than 30 countries, but not Brazil.

With no Pokémon available to catch in the area, the athletes are having a tough time at the Village.

Here's what American diver Abby Johnston tweeted:

"I wish I could run around in the (athletes') village catching Pokemon," New Zealand soccer player Anna Green told The Associated Press. "I just can't get it on the phone. It's fine, but it would have been something fun to do."

Green said she’ll train instead.

The Associate Press report further added that Niantic didn’t reply to a request for comment on when the game might be released in Brazil.

The opening ceremony of the biggest sporting extravaganza will take place on Friday.
