Day 10 of Pro Kabaddi League witnessed Haryana Steelers ending Gujarat Fortunegiants' unbeaten run, then Telugu Titans fought back to share the spoils with Bengaluru Bulls on Tuesday in Nagpur.

Match 19 (Zone B): FULL-TIME — Bengaluru Bulls 21-21 Telugu Titans

22:23 PM IST: What a thriller in Nagpur. Second tied match of the season as Bengaluru Bulls wasted a good lead to share points with Telugu Titans.

It was billed Rahul Chaudhari vs Rohit Kumar match, with two of sport's greatest raiders expected to hit the headlines. But it was the Titans captain, who had a greater say in the match. However, he will rue the wasted chance to win the match in the final raid.


SECOND-HALF

22:18 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 21-21 Telugu Titans — Then, the legend of Rahul Chaudhari made a mess of his raid and both the sides shared the spoils. Another tie this season, 21-21.

Raiding for a win, the skipper did manage to touch a Bulls defender, but he ended up gifting a point too.


22:16 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 20-20 Telugu Titans — Rahul Chaudhari returned empty handed, and the Bulls failed to increase the lead with Harish Naik wasting his raid too.

But, Rakshith was there for the Titans. Two points. It was followed by a brillaint tackle from the Titans.

Chaudhary, when his team needed most, produced a classical raid, escaping with two points to level the score at 20-20.


22:12 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 20-15 Telugu Titans — Harish Naik produced a good raid, then on a do-or-die raid, Nilesh Salunke returned empty handed. Now, it's five-point lead for the Bulls.


22:10 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 18-15 Telugu Titans — Rahul Chaudhari leading top scorers with 50 points. He resumed the proceedings with an empty raid. Meanwhile, Bulls went for a review, claiming that Chaudhari had touch the sidelines.

Seconds ago, Bulls made a sub. Harish Naik in for Ajay Kumar.

Review unsuccessful.


22:05 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 18-15 Telugu Titans — Skipper Rahul Chaudhari lost his raid, then his team-mates responded by tackling Rohit Kumar. Just brilliant game of kabaddi. Under five minutes now. Time out taken by the Bulls.


22:02 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 17-14 Telugu Titans — Rahul Chaudhari  resumed with a successful raid to give Titans a point. But Rohit Kumar responded with a similar raid. Then Chaudhari got his second back-to-back successful raid.


21:59 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 16-12 Telugu Titans — Sub for the Titans with under 10 minutes time left in the match. Rakshith in for Mohsen Maghsoudlou. But just arrived Rakshith failed the breach the Bulls defence. He almost, almost. Time-out.


21:56 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 15-12 Telugu Titans — Nilesh Salunke, what a wasted flight. He took the giant leap to escape the Bulls trap, but landed right there, as he crashed into a block.

Then, on a do-or-die raid, Ashish ran into a brilliant Vishal. Another ankle hold from the young defender.


21:53 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 14-10 Telugu Titans — Sub for the Titans, Mohsen Maghsoudlou in for Vinod Kumar. Then Nilesh returned with a bonus point to reduce the gap.

It was followed by a brilliant ankle hold from Vishal Bhardwaj to send Ajay Kumar out. Another point to the Titans.


21:50 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 14-9 Telugu Titans — One mistake from Rahul Chaudhari during an ambitious raid, then another Ashish Kumar successful raid, to give the Bulls crucial leads.

Moments later, Bulls managed to effect an All Out the Titans. First of the match.


FIRST-HALF

21:42 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 9-8 Telugu Titans — What a move from the Bulls, to send Rahul Chaudhari out of the court. Good team work. Score 8-8 with seconds left in the half.

Bulls took a raiding point, thanks to Ashish Kumar's smart work, to end the half. But there's a review. Bulls claimed that a Titans defender was out of the back line. Review unsuccessful. Half-time.


21:39 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 7-8 Telugu Titans — Harish Naik reduced the gap to two points with a successful raid. Then, a Rohit Kumar successful raid made it 7-8, still in favour of the Titans.


21:36 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 5-8 Telugu Titans — Rakesh Kumar returned with an empty raid, and no issues for the Titans as they are still leading by a couple of points in a crunch match.

It was followed by a Rahul Chaudhari raid, but the skipper landed badly, with his left knee hitting the turf first. He is fine though.


21:34 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 5-7 Telugu Titans — Nilesh Salunke became the victim of a brilliant Bulls defensive work. Points levelled at 5-5.

Rahul Chaudhari helped the Titans regained the lead with a succesful raid. The Titans, then, extended the lead with a good tackle.


21:31 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 3-4 Telugu Titans — Empty raid from Rahul Chaudhari. Ashish Kumar got an empty raid for the Bulls. Then, the Bulls tackled Vikas to level the score at 4-4.

Anxious moments for the Bulls with star raider Rohit Kumar extending his welcome in the Titans turf. Out. Unsuccessful raid. 4-5 now in the Titans' favour.


21:27 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 3-4 Telugu Titans — Rahul Chaudhari on do-or-die raid, and the skipper returned triumphant. The Titans then take the lead with a tackle, dismissing Ajay Kumar.


21:24 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 3-2 Telugu Titans — Bulls took the lead for the first time with Rohit Kumar successful raid.


21:23 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 1-1 Telugu Titans — Nilesh Salunke opened the scoring to give Titans the lead. It was followed by an exchange of empty raids, but Rohit Kumar escaped with a raiding point to level the score.


21:20 PM IST: Bengaluru Bulls 0-0 Telugu Titans — Legendary Rahul Chaudhari started with an empty raid against Bengaluru Bulls. Ajay Kumar wasted no time to turn over, but again, another empty raid.



Match 18 (Zone A): FULL-TIME — Gujarat Fortunegiants 20 - 32 Haryana Steelers 

21:10 PM IST: Vikas Khandola was brilliant for Haryana Steelers. The young raider got six raiding points from 12 attempts. Gujarat Fortunegiants' Sachin also dominated in his raids, but his eight points were not enough to inspire he team. For Haryana, Mohit Chillar and Surender Nada were also contributed heavily.


SECOND-HALF

21:03 PM IST: Fortunegiants 20 - 32 Steelers — Great work from Haryana Steelers. Another good tackle, good initiation and also better support, to dismiss Sachin. Vikash Khandola, then finished off with an empty raid.


21:02 PM IST: Fortunegiants 20 - 31 Steelers — With couple of minutes left in the match, Gujarat Fortunegiants tackled Surjeet Singh. Then, yellow card for Abozar Mighani, and a point to Haryana Steelers.

Gujarat then challenged a call, claiming they have scored an extra point from Mahendra Rajput's failed raid. Review unsuccessful.


20:57 PM IST: Fortunegiants 19 - 29 Steelers — Fazel Atrachali, once again, failed to make the most out of his raid. Haryana Steelers still have a seven point lead despite Gujarat Fortunegiants resuming the match with a point.

Steelers made another change, Wazir Singh in for Rakesh Kumar.

It was followed by a brilliant ankle hold to dismiss Rakesh Narwal of Fortunegiants.


20:54 PM IST: Fortunegiants 18 - 26 Steelers — With just about five minutes' play left in the match, Haryana Steelers took time-out in Nagpur.


20:49 PM IST: Fortunegiants 18 - 24 Steelers — First super raid of the night, thanks to Gujarat Fortunegiants' Mahendra Rajput.  Gujarat then produced a perfect block to dismiss Haryana Steelers' leading raider Surjeet Singh.


20:40 PM IST: Fortunegiants 12 - 22 Steelers — With only two players left in the court, Fazel Atrachali raided for Gujarat. And he returned empty handed. Then Vikash Khandola probed the Gujarat players with a teasing raid. He got the better of Fazel Atrachali. Another point for Haryana.

It was followed by an All Out. Steelers deserved the lead. Ten points.


20:37 PM IST: Fortunegiants 11 - 17 Steelers — Vikash Khandola escaped with two points from a brilliant raid just after both the sides indulged on subs.


20:35 PM IST: Fortunegiants 11 - 15 Steelers — Empty raid from Rohit Gulia to start the second half. SO thus from Deepak Dahia. Then on a super tackle for Haryana, Fortunegiants completed a tackle to revive Fazel Atrachali. But Steelers still have the lead.


HALF-TIME: Fortunegiants 9 - 13 Steelers — Fortunegiants ​raider Sachin was brilliant with seven raid points, but a bad ending before the break. In contrast, Haryana's been more of a team effort with the likes of Surjeet, Mohit, Vikas all scoring points.


FIRST-HALF

20:28 PM IST: Fortunegiants 9 - 13 Steelers — Unsuccessful raid from Sachin to end the first half. With that Haryana Steelers have taken a five-point lead. 


20:25 PM IST: Fortunegiants 9 - 12 Steelers — A moment of brilliance from Surender Nada to get the better on Fazel Atrachali. It took a mere second to touch the dangerous Iranian and return home with a point. Some celebrations too.


20:22 PM IST: Fortunegiants 9 - 10 Steelers — But Steelers regained the lead, two points, thanks to a Sukesh Hegde tackle and before that, a successful raid.

Then, Fortunegiants reduced the gap again, to a single point, with Sachin returning with successful raid.


20:19 PM IST: Fortunegiants 7 - 7 Steelers — Sub for Fortunegiants. Manoj Kumar in for Mahendra Rajput. Earlier, Sachin had a successful raid to reduce the gap to one point.

Then, a defensive point for Fortunegiants as newly arrived Deepak Dahiya lost his raid and ground.


20:15 PM IST: Fortunegiants 5 - 7 Steelers — After a slow start, Gujarat Fortunegiants have reduced the point difference to a point. Then, umpire called for TV review to check if a Gujarat defender had overstepped. It's good call. Two points difference now with less then 10 minutes play left in the half.


20:10 PM IST: Fortunegiants 4 - 6 Steelers — Vikas Kandola produced a good raid to give Steelers two point. It was followed by a superb response from Fortunegiants, with Sachin playing a key role in a successful tackle to dismiss Kandola.


20:08 PM IST: Fortunegiants 1 - 4 Steelers — Gujarat opened their account with a tackle, dismissing Haryana raider Vikas Kandola. But  the Steelers responded with a good tackle, dismissing Mahendra Rajput.


20:06 PM IST: Fortunegiants 0 - 3 Steelers — Brilliant start from Surjeet. He returned with two points from the raid. No points yet for Gujarat Fortunegiants. The debutants also lost Sukesh Hegde.


20:02 PM IST: Fortunegiants 0 - 0 Steelers — Haryana Steelers raid first. And first up, it's Surjeet.


New Delhi: It's Day 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 5, with two high-profile encounters set to get underway. The first encounter will see Gujarat Fortunegiants take on Haryana Steelers in Nagpur. Considering the way their previous clash finished, the fans are in for a nail-biter.

That particular encounter produced a scintillating 27-27 draw when they locked horns in the Hyderabad leg earlier, and the fans in Nagpur would be hoping for just the same tonight.

The second match, between Bengaluru Bulls and Telugu Titans, will see the two sides face off. While Bulls are coming into this match with a loss in their last match, the Titans ended their last clash as second best too. 

Both will be looking to revive their fortunes in today's clash.
