Six facts you ought to know about Michael Schumacher's condition!

New Delhi: Seven-time F1 world champion Michael Schumacher is back in news as a lifestyle magazine, Bunte, claimed that the driver was walking again.

Though, the report was denied by the long-time Schumacher manager, Sabine Kehm, here are few facts regarding the fatal accident and condition of legendary German driver.

On 29 December 2013, Schumacher was skiing with his 14-year-old son Mick in the French Alps, during which he fell and hit his head on a rock, resulting in severe head trauma.

When Schumacher first received help, his condition did not seem grave. However, by the time Schumi reached the hospital, he had slipped into a coma. He was later taken into brain surgery almost immediately.

According to few witnesses who reported the accident, stated they saw blood coming from Schumacher’s helmet and on the snow around him.

On 9 September 2014, Schumacher was brought back to his home for further rehabilitation.

In November 2014, it was reported that Schumacher was "paralysed and in a wheelchair"; he "cannot speak and has memory problems".

However, in a video interview released in May 2015, Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm said that his condition is slowly improving "considering the severeness of the injury he had".
