New Delhi: World number two Dustin Johnson, and reigning US Open champion became the latest golfer to pull out of 2016 Rio Olympics due to Zika virus threat.

A final-list of participants will be announced on Monday (July 11), based on the Official World Golf Ranking for men, Women's World Golf Rankings for women.

After 1904 Olympics, the Rio Games will be the first time golf has been included in the quadrennial event. There will be two events – men's and women's individual events.

Following is the list of golfers not going to Rio de Janeiro. Zica threat emerged as one of the main reasons for the pull-outs. Scheduling is another major concern for top golfers.
