READ: Why Anil Kumble is still the king of spin in Jamaica!

New Delhi: India dominated the West Indies on the first day of second Test at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica on Saturday with Ravichandran Ashwin recording back-to-back five-wicket hauls in successive innings.

Ashwin, 29, took seven wickets in the second innings of the first Test at Antigua, which India won by an innings and 92 runs. He thus justified the tag of being India's top bowler, but also one of the best spinners in business today.

However, the king of spin in Jamaica is Anil Kumble, the current chief coach of traveling Indian team. And in the same venue, he's unrivaled, bettered only by Kapil Dev.

Kumble, 45, has played 132 Tests to become the highest wicket-taker for India.

The legend has the best figures by spinners in ground. In 2006, he took six wickets conceding 78 runs in a spell of 22.4 overs. His India compatriot Harbhajan Singh is second in the list with figures of 4.3-13-5, registered in the same match at Sabina Park.

Pakistan's Danish Kaneria followed with figures of 20-46-5, which precedes Ashwin's five-wicket haul yesterday.

Kumble is also the leading the wicket-taker for spinners in India-West Indies series in the Caribbean islands, which is led by Kapil (89).

In 17 Tests, Kumble took 74 wickets at an average of 29.78, behind legendary West Indian fast bowler Malcolm Marshall's 76.
