New Delhi: New Zealand cricket all-rounder Grant Elliot has announced his retirement from ODIs on Friday.
Elliott, who has been an important member of the Black Caps for quite some time now, told Newshub that, he is still enjoying his cricket and has already played his last ODI game.
"I'm going to reassess, let the dust settle," Elliott told Newshub. "As long as I'm still enjoying my cricket, I haven't really made a call on anything yet. I've played my last one-day game, but there are three formats."
Although the Kiwi veteran will be playing T20Is. Elliott played an important hand for New Zealand in the ongoing ICC World Twenty20. New Zealand bowed out in the semi-finals.
In his ODI career, Grant Elliot scored 1976 runs in 83 games, at an average of 34.06. He notched up two centuries and 11 half-centuries.
In September 2015, Elliott had announced that he would reassess his international career following the 2016 World T20.
