SRH skipper David Warner quite clearly was the standout performer of the day with his unbeaten 93-run knock.
There was another moment however of individual brilliance during Qualifier 2 that captured the imagination of cricket lovers.
That was produced by Australia's Ben Cutting during Gujarat Lions' innings.
Barinder Sran's delivery for flicked for what looked like a leg-side six by Aaron Finch. As the ball sailed over the boundary rope, Cutting leapt up and back to plucked it out of thin air and threw it back inside.
This piece of miracle fielding saved SRH valuable runs, which possibly made all the difference in the end.
While Warner walked away with the man-of-the-match award, this moment of magic from Cutting too was almost as important in the context of the match.
