New Delhi: Indian batsman Ajinkya Rahane, who scored 89 runs on the opening day of the final Test, showed once again why cricket is a gentleman's game when he shook hands with Temba Bavuma after he was hit by one of his shots.
Rahane swept one hard from Dane Piedt towards Bavuma, who was fielding at short leg. The ball hit him on his hand and he was seen in pain. Rahane wasted no time in reaching out to him to make sure he was all right.
The Board of Cricket for Control in India (BCCI) also hailed Rahane's gesture on Twitter.
