Shahid Afridi's 'getting more love in India' comment: Read how legends reacted to it

New Delhi: Pakistan cricket team skipper Shahid Afridi has faced the brunt for his comment on his side getting more love in India than his own nation.

The veteran cricketer was served a legal notice for "committing treason" and "hurting sentiments" of Pakistanis.

Pakistan arrived on Saturday in India for the ongoing ICC World Twenty20.

At a press conference in Kolkata, Afridi had said, "I've not enjoyed playing anywhere as much as I have in India. We have not got this much love even from Pakistan.”

Although the senior cricketer later on clarified about his comment on Monday by saying that he wanted to send out a positive message.

"I am not just the captain of Pakistan’s cricket team I am representing the whole country here. The one statement I gave recently should be taken as positive,” said Afridi.
