Joginder Sharma: What is India's 2007 ICC World Twenty20 hero up to these days?

New Delhi: He might not have achieved enormous success in international cricket, but the last over bowled by Joginder Sharma in ICC World Twenty20 against Pakistan in 2007 gave Indian cricket one of its most memorable moments. (ICC World Twenty20: FULL COVERAGE)

It was a move, which worked in MS Dhoni's favour, as India won the epic match by 5 runs.

But Joginder went into oblivion after bowling that match-winning over against arch-rivals Pakistan.

After the World T20, Joginder was given a job with the Haryana Police. He rose through the ranks and is now a Deputy Superintendent of Police.

Joginder never played another T20 International match after the 2007 World T20 final, but was a member of the Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.

Joginder played four ODIs and four T20Is for the Men in Blue.

In first class cricket, the all-rounder has scored 2689 runs and has 289 wickets to his name.
