Hong Kong vs Scotland: Five players to watch out for

New Delhi: It's a dead rubber, but the clash between two Associate teams – all eager and hungry for recognition – cannot be dismissed as any other fixture between two nondescript teams in the 2016 ICC World Twenty20. Both the teams have enough talent to liven up the contest. Here are five such players who are expected to not only play well but also impress the cynics, pundits, et al.

Ryan Campbell: The former Aussie player is probably the biggest name in the two line-ups. But at 44 years, the right-handed batsman has become a journeyman of sorts, turning up for Hong Kong. Today may well be his final game. And he will need to give ample support to skipper and opening partner Jamie Atkinson, if they are to beat Scotland.

Babar Hayat: Another Hong batsman who can play a match winning knock is the Pakistan-born Hayat. Needing 49 more runs to become the first Hong Kong batsman to reach 500-run mark in T20Is, the 24-year-old right-handed batsman is a due for some runs. He can strike the ball.

Kyle Coetzer: Scotland are a hugely talented side. And Coetzer is one of those talents. The opener will need to play a steady hand today, along with George Munsey to provide the team a solid foundation. The right-handed batsman is equally good with his bowling arm. He can be the difference between the two teams, if skipper Preston Mommsen utilises him properly.

Calum MacLeod: Talking about talent. MacLoed is a rare breed of cricketer. He, probably, is the soul of the team. Bat well, bowl well, field well. a good all-rounder. But the tournament has been rather quiet for him. He can explode today. And if that happens, there's no reason Scotland not winning there first match in an ICC tournament.

Alasdair Evans: A street smart operator with enough pace to trouble best of batsmen, Evans is one of the few bowlers who have taken a five-wicket haul in T20I matches. He's been impressive so far in this tournament, and another good outing today will increase Scotland's chances of winning.
