England vs West Indies: ICC World Twenty20 – Five players to watch out for

New Delhi: Two Super 10 matches of the 2016 ICC World Twenty20 so far, and it's unpredictability which ruled the roost. In the opener, between the hosts India and New Zealand, ball dominated and an ensemble of star batsmen failed.

In the second match, however, Pakistan – batting first – have toyed with Bangladeshi bowlers. The manner in which Ahmed Shehzad, Mohammad Hafeez and Shahid Afridi batted once again brought the T20 cricket into batsman's realm.

So, the unpredictability can be expected when the two formers champions the West Indies and England meet for the third match in Mumbai. However, we can still pick players who are expected to do their teams proud.

Here are five players to watch out for:

Chris Gayle: He is the king. And rightly so, whenever he comes to bat with his big willow, bowlers take extra caution. If he stays long, for a considerable period today, then England will bleed bad.

Alex Hales: The 27-year-old occasional wicket-keeper has established himself as one of the most reliable batsman for England in this format. If England are to take the game on the West Indies, Hales will need to bat exceptional well.

Dwayne Bravo: He is probably one the best all-rounders in the game today. With a veritable experience of playing in various leagues, the 32-year-old comes as the most dangerous player in the match, besides Gayle.

Andre Russell: Another all-rounder who is making a name for himself is Russell. On his day, the 27-year-old Jamaican can reduce any side with his bowling, and also with batting. Russell will be keen to let his performance do the talking after recent drug controversy seemed to have compromised his position in the team.

Jos Buttler: The 25-year-old from Taunton is England's answer to their stroke-making woes. Buttler can play all the shots in the book. After his ODI success, he will be keen to perform in the T20s too. And what better, bigger stage one needs than a world cup.
