New Delhi: Pakistan crashed out of the 2016 World Twenty after being outplayed by Australia in Mohali.

Faulkner bowled the eighteenth over. Two successive scalps for the all-rounder virtually sealed the deal for Australia. Good effort from Latif nonetheless.

Hazlewood bowled the fifteenth over. Latif hit the pacer's wide delivery over cover for a much-needed boundary.

James Faulkner bowled the sixth over. Sharjeel welcomed him with a short-arm pull to the square-leg boundary. But the Australian all-rounder earned his revenge two balls later, as the left-hander dragged the delivery on to his stumps. Umar Akmal is the new man in for Pakistan.

Coulter-Nile bowled the fourth over. Sharjeel got in position early and cracked the third ball to the cow corner boundary. Superb hitting from the left-hander.

Hazlewood bowled the third over. Loss of concentration cost Shehzad his wicket. The right-hander's attempted slog finds Coulter-Nile at mid-on. There was no need to play that stroke especially since Sharjeel had already scored a boundary in that over.

Amir bowled the last over. 14 runs came off it. Australians finish with 193/4 thanks to super knocks from Smith and Watson.

Wahab bowled the penultimate over of the Aussie innings. Watson tonked the left-armer's full toss over extra cover four a four.

Smith took guard outside off-stump and picked Wahab's yoker away over midwicket. Audacious!


Over 18 | Score 167/4

Sami bowled the eighteenth over. Smith picked up two runs to get to his fifty. Superb knock by the skipper.

Watson clobbered the pacer's full delivery inside out over extra cover for a six. Smith then got on the act, piercing the ball past backward point. for a four.


Over 17 | Score 152/4

Amir bowled the seventeenth over. Big one for Australia, as 17 runs came off it. Watson hit the left-arm pacer for two boundaries and a six. Clinical hitting from Watto!


Over 16 | Score 135/4

Wahab bowled the sixteenth over. Watson scored his first four of the match with an excellent pull shot between deep square and deep fine.


Over 15 | Score 127/4

Afridi bowled the fifteenth over. Excellent over from the skipper, giving away just three runs.


Over 14 | Score 124/4

Wasim bowled the fourteenth over. Maxwell tried to hit the fourth ball for a six over long-on. But the ball didn't have distance on it and Shehzad completed a good catch.

Sami bowled the thirteenth over. After Smith's fortuitous boundary off the first ball, Maxwell went after Sami towards the end of the over.

Wasim bowled the 12th over. Another solid over from the spinner. Only five came off it.

Imad Wasim bowled the 8th over. His arm ball beat Finch's defences and hit the middle stump. All three Aussie batsmen have been bowled so far.

Smith played a lovely sweep shot, beating fine leg's to pick up another four.

Wahab Riaz bowled the sixth over. After rattling Khawaja's stumps, he did the same to Warner. Sheer pacer from Wahab!

​Smith, the new man, played to the ball through midwicket region and the Aussies ran four. Poor fielding from Sami.

Mohammad Amir got things underway in Mohali. Usman Khawaja earned himself a fortuitous four runs off the fourth ball. The leading edge off the left-hander's bat went through the gap at the off side.
