BCCI demotes Suresh Raina in new list of central contracts

New Delhi: In their 86th Annual General Meeting (AGM), Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a fresh central contracts list for national players.

The biggest surprise has come in the form of Indian limited-overs batsman Suresh Raina, who has been demoted from Grade A to Grade B.

Raina has been going through a poor patch of form for quite some time now and has managed to score a mere half-century in the recently concluded limited-over series against South Africa.

The BCCI took to micro-blogging site Twitter to disclose the entire central contacts list.

The BCCI also announced the central contract list for the women's team, with Mithali Raj (skipper), Jhulan Goswami, Harmanpreet Kaur and MD Thirushkamini making it to 'Grade A'.
