New Delhi: Team India cricketer Manish Pandey, who played a sensational match-winning ton against Australia in the fifth and final ODI, ranked his knock among top three moments of his career.

With an outstanding knock the 26-year-old has somewhat justified his inclusion in the team for the tough tour Down Under.

After the match, Pandey described the game as one of the most thrilling encounters of his career.

“It is one of the most thrilling games I have been a part. Being there on the field, playing those balls and seeing the team through was special and I would rank this knock among the top three moments of my career.

“There were some nerve breaking moments at times but I think I had a good partnership with all the batsmen who were coming in to bat. I feel it came off my way.”

Pandey's maiden international ton came in his fourth ODI.

The aggressive cricketer paced his innings to perfection and as he played an unbeaten knock of 104 off 81 balls, laced with eight boundaries and a six.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni is highly impressed with his innings.

“I felt he placed his innings very well. He calculated the run chase and this innings will really help him. It’s good to get somebody who scored a hundred, especially at that batting position. He batted really well and I hope he continues the same way. He has a good future,” said Dhoni.
