New Delhi: Sky gazers across the world are super stoked about the supermoon that will reveal its beauty to the skies today, November 14.

This supermoon is special because it will be the brightest in nearly 70 years and this spectacle will recur next in 2034.

Now, because that's a long time to wait and because NASA understands the anticipation, it has shared the first look of the supermoon from the Baikonur Cosmodrome launch pad in Kazakhstan.

Posing as a picturesque backdrop, the supermoon has been shown rising from behind the Soyuz rocket, which is being prepared for the next International Space Station (ISS) crew launch on November 17.

A supermoon occurs when the moon’s orbit is closest (perigee) to Earth. Needless to say, the image is beautiful and we just can't wait to see the world's response to the spectacular view.
